Statewide Tornado Drill Coming

With a taste of spring upon us, now is the time to start thinking about what you would do in a tornado warning! Severe weather can strike at any time. It's important for us all to be prepared to act when the alerts are issued.

The Statewide Tornado Drill is an excellent opportunity for Michigan families, schools, and businesses to practice their emergency plans and enhance their readiness for a real severe weather event.

Test your plan, know how to get warnings, and be prepared!

The Statewide Tornado Drill is scheduled for March 27, 2019 at 1 p.m.

All of the outdoor warning sirens in Ingham County will be activated at that time... Use that afternoon to practice your plan and post a picture of your "test drill" on Facebook or Twitter using #MITORNADODRILL
